The Ulster County Italian American Foundation currently has the following active committees to help us further our mission. If you wish to be a member we would love to have you participate in one of the committees.


Ulster County High School seniors in the 9 school districts (Ellenville, Highland, Kingston, Marlboro, New Paltz, Onteora, Saugerties, Rondout Valley, Wallkill) plus John A. Coleman High School are awarded a $500 Education Awards in June each year based upon criteria that is established by the UCIAF Education Awards Committee. In addition, donations are made to local charities and individuals in need.


Develops organization mission, rules and regulations for operation. Defines meeting guidelines, membership criteria, designate Officers and responsibilities, committee structure.


Identifies events and activities that are interesting and relevant to the membership. Responsible for creating fund raising events and programs, social nights, trips/travels, speakers, etc.


Held annually the Sunday before Columbus Day. Organizes and implements the logistics, publicity, entertainment, vendors, volunteers and interface with the community.


Promotes and develops membership interest. Registers new members in the member data base. Recommends dues structure to the Board of Directors. Tracks dues collections annually.


Responsible for website development and continuity. Posts on Facebook and other social media as necessary. Writes press releases regarding events and activities.
